On October 19, 2023, Save Vietnam's Wildlife (SVW), in collaboration with Pu Mat National Park, organized a training program for members of the Core Group for Forest Protection Advocacy in Pu Mat. This is one of the activities under the "Nature and Wildlife Conservation Education Program for Pu Mat National Park, 2023-2025" (abbreviated as the 2023-2025 Education Program).

The Core Group for Forest Protection Advocacy in Pu Mat, consisting of 2 forest rangers, 16 teachers from 16 buffer zone schools of Pu Mat National Park, 4 forest protection officers (SVW), and 2 education and awareness officers (SVW), will serve as a pioneering community force in protecting nature and wildlife in Pu Mat National Park. Through the training program, members aligned on their roles and responsibilities while gaining essential conservation knowledge and skills, such as project proposal writing, photography, and utilizing shared data resources. This empowers the Core Group to carry out forest and wildlife protection advocacy activities for students and the Pu Mat National Park buffer zone community within the framework of the 2023-2025 Education Program.
