If you encounter wildlife or products made from wildlife at restaurants, markets, hotels, or anywhere else in Vietnam, please call the Education for Nature – Vietnam (ENV) immediately.
Examples of cases that should be reported:
A restaurant advertising wildlife on its menu or signage
Civets or other wildlife being kept in captivity
Wildlife kept in cages at hotels or business establishments
Detected buses, airplanes, ships, etc., transporting packages containing wildlife
Discovered fishermen catching sea turtles
Saw wildlife or wildlife meat being sold at a market
Spotted an otter being captured or sold as a pet

Owston's Civet
A small carnivore, rarely seen in the wild. They have a distinctive coat with stripes that provide camouflage in the forest.
Wildcat
A rare species of wildcat with a distinctive coat. They are primarily nocturnal, hunting in dense forests, and are currently facing the threat of habitat loss.
Pangolin
As the only scaly mammal in the world, they are frequently poached for their scales. They play a vital role in the ecosystem by controlling insect populations.
Otter
A highly social mammal that lives in family groups and is an excellent swimmer
